Hello friends,

Just got my brand new hackable switch(lucky lottery ay?) and the SX OS pro.
Ive gone through the forum and guides extensively but have run into a few roadblocks on how to proceed.

1) My Switch is on OFW 4.0.1, my first order of business is to create a fresh squeaky clean NAND Backup. However I do not have exFAT support, and I understand I can use ChoidujorNX for that, but I need to create a NAND Backup before even touching home-brew apps. I refuse to update OFW, due to fuses burning and the current OFW being 6.2 (the 2.4 beta sx os is buggy rn). What can I do to get a clean Nand, and get around this exFAT problem?

Also is hekate or SX OS Nand backup tool recommended? And will using the payload injector the first time keep my Nand clean as long as I don't boot into CFW?

2) For emuNand, I assume installing onto the sd card is preferable to internal storage? I will need 2.3 beta for this?

3)Lastly, will my sx os licence be fine if I format the sd card after activating? Will just making a backup of the licence.dat suffice?

Cheers :)

1: Just make a nand backuo to FAT32 formated SD card
Hekate or SXOS nand backup is of your choice, and booting the SXOS menu screen does not alter your nand in any way iirc
2: If you prefer SD or Internal emunand is your choice, but yes you need 2.3 for SD emunand
3: just remember to backup your license.dat, then you can format as many times you want, even change the SD card if nessesery

Just.. regarding #1 isn't a fat32 formatted card supports only 4gb files? and the Nand is like 30gb. if the files are going to be split won't that cause complications or can they be joined etc :)
