Hello all,

I have recently acquired a second xbox 360 and am looking to r-jtag it and install a DemoN in order to dual boot with xbox live and a custom dash. I understand the install process of the r-jtag hardware as well as the DemoN hardware, but my question lies in its use. My first question is how does the r-jtag not activate when booting to the stock nand and activate when booting to the DemoN? Is it all controlled by the switch on the DemoN or some other way? Secondly, should i buy a second hard drive for the DemoN side and use the original drive for the Stock side or is it safe to use one hard drive?

Im really excited to get going on this and just need these few questions answered as i cant seem to find a straightforward answer as to how this all works.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

The R-JTAG code is written to enable/disable the exploit when required.

When the DemoN NAND is active, the R-JTAG exploit runs and when the stock NAND is active, the R-JTAG exploit is disabled allowing the stock/retail NAND to boot.

I recommend a second hard drive - an external HDD is perfect :).
