Once you have the latest pack extract them into the firmware folder of jungleflasher. Download the jungleflasher tut from their website if you need help with the flashing process it's second to none awesome. Once they are in the firmware folder, follow the tut and the correct firmware for your drive should autoload into target zone, ready for your dvd key. Doesn't get any easier than that!

Make sure you have the latest pack, though. Do what these fellows are saying and get it from xbins if you haven't found it already.

Okay - did it - think I'm good to go. Pretty sure I have the latest pack. When looking in the RAR, I see that the time stamp on the files and folders are 1/9/12 - 1/15/12.

Crap! ONE more question - promise! (i think) :)

I have the Xecuter X360USB PRO, but nothing for the power. Can I use my Xbox's power? I already Googled it, but some people said it may lead to a ban. Is that true? What is suggested that I use (if anything) in this situation?

id advise ck3i or the mini, using the xbox to power flags with m$ that the xbox has been powered up without the drive, i used to do it with an old rrod before i seen the light and purchased the ck3 pro revd, but i wouldnt get banned cause the console was no good anyway was just using it for power

If it gets flagged as powering up without the drive, it definatly results in instant ban, then? I had it hooked up and ready to turn on when I checked your message - hadn't powered it up yet.

I just really want to flash it so I can log in with membership - but not if it's going to ban me. I hardly ever play online, but sometimes do.

Okay- I ran into a tiny, tiny problem :(

Since I'm impatient, I went ahead with using the xbox's power. I powered it on, then proceeded with the instructions.

I got to the part where it was writing the new flash - when it said there was an error. After that, I lost all comm with drive. Come to find out, the Xbox shut off during the write.

NOW - when I try to hook it up (after power cycling the drive and USB360, the drive isn't detected in JungleFlasher YIKES!!!!!!

Did I just brick my drive? I haven't rebooted the computer yet, though...

Ohh - BTW - The USB360 was flashing blue for a bit until I recycled the power.
