X360USB PRO Quick doubt please

Hi All,

First of all sorry if this is not in the correct "section" I just received my usb pro 2, and I'm finally ready to flash my console by myself, I just want to know if I should follow this guide step by step "http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67582"
or if there's something that will change as I'm using usb pro 2

dosent matter .. its the same for usbpro and the x360usb+ck3/cki3 remember a ck3 prope if you have or get a lite-on phat

trying to flash now but I keep getting "slim key failed" is it possible that my replacement PCB is in "read only" does it have anything to do with it?

you shouldn't be pressing slimkey with the replacement PCB connected to begin with
you do that with your original PCB to get the key off it

You need to extract the key from the drive's PCB and flash it to the unlocked PCB, are you using the guide?

no it doesnt
you press slim key with the original PCB not the replacement one...the replacement one is blank !!!
if you read it properly steps 1-8 is while you have your original PCB connected, then at step 9 you change it to the replacement PCB

**By the way, I had the unlockment PCB installed by someone else a while ago, what I'm trying to do is flash back to stock to update and then flash back to LT+3.0, sorry for the incomplete info

No, but I have my original PCB, I guess I should connect that to usbpro first, extract the key and then dump it to the pcb again, is that possible?

you could of intro the drive,then spi unlock it,then press the read tab.it would of gave you the dummy from the tx pcb.

OK just reverted back to stock and updated to the latest dashboard form windows live, now when I flash to LT+3.0 should I extract a new dummy.bin, or will the original one work? (just checking as it's my first time

you need to keep the original dummy.bin and keep it safe ,never lose it......the key doesn't change...always use the original though

use your orig dummy.as it's a slim.as long as orig dummy aint a 9504 drive...as 9504 drives got flashed to 0272 after the update..

Thanks for your help everyone, now that it's done I can say it looked easier than it was XD, however it's pretty simple, I just tend to get nervous when something doesn't goes as I expected.
