Quick fire question

Hi guys im just about to flash my hitachi drive just wanna no once i put it in mode B and then try and flash it with the sata ports on my mo board what happens if it doesnt work? can i still put the 360 back together and play as normal?

yes you can but if ya get the drive reconised in windows you've done all the hard work the flash is simple just follow text's tut an let the program run till it tells you sucsessfuly flashed drive it is now safe to shut down your system what version drive did you have??

all i no is i have the hitachi drive i have not opened my 360 up yet to find out the exact model

if you av any ov these drives 46/47/59. use gary opa 2.3 firmware its pretty straight forward if you av the 78 drive read text's tut its a slightley different way of flashing not done one ov those personally but its all their in the pdf an vids to help you

ok mate cheers i was going to get the firmware from xbins is that right? im just really worried bout taking it all apart never done it b4 have not got a torx 10 screw driver either so going to have to try a few others

firstly find your version download everything it tells you too then you'll be good to go

if you dont av a t 10 torx get a old plastic ball point pen remove the nib heat up the pen till it starts melting push it into one ov the torx screw heads an wait for it to cool down an their you av it a home made t 10 torx bit it worked on the gamecube screws just a thought mate

went down to homebase 2 try and find a torx 10 they never heard of it

r you in uk try a car spare accesories shop thats where i picked mine 3 pound for a little cheapo set

yeah they should do but they'll probably be expensive an be in a set unless they sell them individualy try like a not so well known car shop or failing that machine mart r sure to av em

good tip on the homemade torx. they are pretty cheap on ebay fiver for the set thats delivery and all.
