Quick question about 0401 drive after dash 13599

I have a guy asking me to retrieve a dvd key off of a 0401 drive. He's running the latest dash so afaik his drive has been updated to 1175 or 1532. Is this correct? If so the only way to get the key is RGH?

no,all slim liteons,with exception of 9504,stay same fw as they were from factory on any dash,so 0401 stays 0401,dont need rgh.

So how come in the Jungleflasher pdf it says "0272, 0225, 0401, 1071, dashboard 13599" or "1175, 1532, 0500, 0502, any dashboard"???

because thiers an 9504/0272,0401,1071,0225 and 1532 and 1175 liteon drives.

Ok, I just thought it was weird that they specified dashboard 13599 for 0272, 0225, 0401, 1071 and "any dashboard" for 1175, 1532, 0500, 0502.

pretty much all ya really gotta remember is both hitachi and 1175 and 1532 require rgh and ltu,the rest do not
