quick question about coolrunner

if the coolrunner is installed on a bone stock console will the console boot stock dashboard if correctly solder to the board? i currently have not flashed my coolrunners xsfv file yet nor injected the ecc file and i get 0022 on boot just trying to verify if this is correct on the zephyr board.

I remeber the jtag hack did boot stock dash when the jtag ports were wired is this the same situation with rgh? i would think no becuase i have tried but needed a few opinions

i would think it would boot as normal the CR does not do anything till you program it

If you flick the coolrunner switch to prog mode, it won't even be powered. But even in norm mode my slim would still boot the retail dash image. It is a good sanity check to flash back to your original dash with -w16 if you aren't glitching successfully, like with the default length blue wire on my slim which refused to glitch until I cut it to 50cm or less.

yes it does work when wired up, i did a few moments ago get 0022 but i went over my points and it seemed the cpu bypas was a bit of a looker soi removed the coolrunner wire, and replaced it with some of my thin kynar, after resoldering it did work fine

it took a few trys to resolder becuase the point is on the tiny side, i definitly suggest using some thin kynar with that point being so close to resistors and such but

all in all im pleased with the tutorials and support here

Nice work. That CPU_RST point can pull off easily, I would recommend taping the wire in place
