I'm just wondering, since you people say the Xenon RGH is only for grabbing DVD Keys, if it does in fact boot using dashlaunch? (To enable FSD, etc) as I'm sure a rewiring or something will be found to glitch the console faster.

Also, I know this is stupid, but my lpt thing to dump my nand is broken. I cant dump a nand with a coolrunner can I?

It is not stable enough to run a dashboard, the thread already stated that they are as bad as Zephyr boards, if not worse.

It's main purpose right now is to retrieve previously lost drive keys so users can restore a Xenon console back to a working state.

No, you will need a device such as the NAND-X to be able to dump your NAND.

I was aware it isnt stable, though some people have gotten there Zephyrs to boot fine which is why I'm asking. Anyways, since your reading this, you dont know why I cant post in the news section do ya? My account is activated and my posts are 25+

I'm just wondering if there is a reloader and if its possible to boot to a dashboard.

I get the feeling that since this is released, Xenons will just be completely forgotten for awhile.

it wouldn't surprise me if XeBuild / GGBuild / etc get updated with Xenon patches after this, however much we advise for it not to be attempted. It's really a case of 'it may work, however don't come crying to us if it doesn't'.

It would be a waste of time working on a modified kernel with the hack in it's current unstable state not to mention lots of people would just hand out grief and bitch about their glitch times :tongue: lol.

Xenons are notorious for RROD and in theory, a modified kernel is possible but why waste time on it when the team have bigger projects like the slim Corona boards to work on?

I understand that a lot of people may still have Xenon units but 90% of them will die long before any Jaspers or Slims will .

What you need to do is read up on why the Zephyr and Xenon are so unstable. We're not liars in what we're telling you. It IS unstable.
