Quick question v1.6b

Hello I have a 1.6b box and a xecuter 2.6 but no switch (I have a programmer) can I program the chip and still be able to use my backups without a switch.
I had a switch but it was faulty, sent it back to mrmodchips 2 moths ago and I have neither had a replacement nor a reply.

You need the switch to use the chip - I'm afraid there's no getting round it. Even to program it, the chip needs to be attached.

Have you contacted mrmodchips for a replacement?

Hi thanks for your reply. I have managed to program the chip and all is OK (I borrowed one from a friend but needs it back) Can I not just ground the D O point now so it allways boots from the chip ?.
Yes I have tried numerous ties to contact Mrmodchips via email and telephone all to no avail.
I have actually ordered one from Bald Bouncer.

Could I not just ground it untill I receive my new switch, about tue/wed then fit this?.
