Just installed an X3, was wondering if i could reflash my Xbox EEPROM with original info, because with out the X3 my xbox, FRAG's... any ideas?

did u ever save your original eeprom?? if so then yes you can just use configmagic to fix your eeprom.....theres tuts on x-s on doing so...
but im guessing you didnt backup your eeprom....so u need to get a new one....but how did u mess it up in the first place?? do you get an error code when trying to boot to the M$ dash??

When i turn the Xbox on it Shuts off 2x then just FRAG's. Nothing Audible and No Visual. I was told by a couple of friends that it could be a that the EEPROM took a dump, but how would i go about gettin a new one.
And i may be a noob at this xbox modding, but i have my A+ and MCSE certifications. Woking on Getting my Degree in Network Engineering and Computer Engineering.

And still you haven't figured out how to search on one of the most common install problems you will find on this board.
Try clicking on this button =>
<= and search for FRAG. You will see the most common recommendation be CHECK YOUR SOLDER JOB. As a network/computer engineering student, you are going to come back and say "but my soldering looks good, I study this stuff and know what I am doing" ... to which we will all say CHECK YOUR SOLDER JOB. Then after two weeks you will come back and say "I fixed my problem, the pin header wasn't making proper contact ... where can I download a BIOS from?".
RTFM. It's your only hope.

hmmm and this is from a guy with 7 posts.... And seriously guys! you payed the 60 bucks for an x3, how about we start using its awsome features! if you wanted to overwrite the onboard eeprom, just do it through ftp with x3 config live.phyushin said:
