Quick X2BM question

Before I take the plunge and flash my Xecutor 2.6CE bios could someone please confirm the following is correct for a v1.6 XBox.

In particular when I added flashbios v3.01 to bank 1 it did not add it automatically to bank 2. What I did was to right click on bank 1 and add the file and then right click on bank 2 and add the same file, is this correct or should I be resizing flashbios v3.01 to 512k before loading into X2BM?

Also, when I add flashbios v3.01 the name appears as <Unknown> is this OK? If I add v3.03 then the correct name is displayed but I have a v1.6 XBox and so understand that I need v3.01.

That will work just fine. If you don't want it to say unknown, you can get the MD5 hashes for Flashbios 3.01 and 5035, and enter them by hitting the MD5 button. This way you can name your bios, but it really doesn't server any purpose.

By loading flashbios into the first and second slot, you are resizing the bios. It is so nice to see someone actually read and verify before they do something. Good work!

Thanks for the confirmation, just checking before I broke something .

I've read just about everything I could find, head is swimming but think I've got it sorted . This forum and xbox-scene seem to be excellent sources of information.
