quick X3 Live question

I just installed an X3 in a V1.3 and i used Slayer's Auto install to install all the apps and evox to the F drive ( Stealth ) I have everything up and running perfectly. I just wanted to know if all I have to do to be safe to run xbox live is to hold the power button down for a second and disable the chip, or were there any other steps i needed to take to prevent being banned from xbox live.

I wouldn't sign on yet. Read what some of the other people are saying in the X3 general discussions forum. Lots of people are getting banned, me included. Research more before you log on to XB live.

mainbord flexing issues

ive been reading alot about mainboard flexing causing the rrod problem, is there anything i can do before this happens

if you have a newer jasper revision then this is not an issue.....

if you have any other revision then no matter what you do it will
red ring in the future and there is nothing you can do to fix it.

to avoid the red ring there is one thing you can do.

sell it and buy a newer console that has the jasper revsion
boards in it.
