I have tried to use Qwix over FTP to my xbox to backup my games for a while with no luck. the ftp works and it starts to create the ISO over the network from the xbox, but it goes extremely slow and locks up, usually around 3% or so. ive tried threw my wireless and wired network. the last time i tried i did it over wireless, and my task manager was saying my network usage was about average 50% of 11mbps.

is this your average speed expeirence? do you think this is causing it to stop? if not what else do you think it could be?

is there any other ways to back them up. i just have stock HDD so I wont be copying directly to the HDD. but I also dont want my nephew(5 years old) playing my originals and scratching them up.

Thanks in advance, tizitelayinlow

Hey,
First, wrong forum. This has nothing to do with the X3.

What dashboard are you using? Quix works best with Avalaunch.

I use dvd2xbox and copy all the files the the xbox HD - then ftp them to the pc then I make the iso with quix or xiso.

I dont try to make the iso over the network.

I know you said you have the stock HD - but so what ?

avalaunch.. stock hd meaning, i cant just use dvd2xbox to copy there, meaning thats why i want to make the iso.. meaning the stock hdd probably has 2mb buffer and might possibly get a buffer underrun?

ha.. why flame? just grow up and help people, you [email protected]

1) Buffer under runs only occur whilst burning discs.

2) Your "Stock" hard drive has more than enough space

3) 2mb Buffer - so what (you’re not burning anything)

3) Your a FAG for not reading and shooting your mouth off - and flaming the ppl who are trying to help you.

I'm sorry you think you know more than you do, but that’s hardly my fault now is it?

wireless sucks. you said 50% of 11Mbps is like 700KBps which isnt that much faster than trying to send a full iso over the internet.
