Hello,
I am new to this R-jtag but have some backgroud and I am located over seas, and I didn't find enough info regarding r-jtag and demon on the web.

First my console and parts:
  1. Jasper BB(256mb)
  2. Dash 15574
  3. Had Lt3+ firmware, but returned to stock before any of my below process starting.
  4. Demon BB kit
  5. R-jtag Starter kit

Second my install and setup:
  1. Installed the Demon in my xbox360, made jumpers with 2.2K Ohm resistors for BB conversion, as the supplied BB conversion jumper will not fit with jtag QSB.
  2. dumped 2 identical nands.
  3. Installed the R-jtag (DIP 7-8 on OR 7-8 and 4 on), with Aud_CLAMP option

  • [*=1]2-way switch you obviously set to ON
[*=1]3-way switch set it to the middle
    [*=1]Jumper set to 470
    [*=1]solder jumper 3-1 for the AUD_CLAMP option
    [*=1]extra wire soldered to Q2N1

Third my programing
  1. Plug the power terminal without powering my xbox
  2. Set my Demon to Xbox360
  3. loaded my nand bin to Source file
  4. In Xelbuild option I check the R-jtag and AUD_CLAMP option(tried Xell button with eject and power option)
  5. Chose my dash version 15574
  6. Pressed Xell-reloaded
  7. then pressed write xel reloaded(it will take almost 3-4 sec)
  8. Removed the power terminal for 10 sec, then replug it.
  9. power my xbox.

Fourth, what happen:
  1. Screen blank showing nothing. NO XELL
  2. Yellow led on R-jtag keeps blinking slowly, while the red is steady glowing.
  3. My yellow xbox power led keeps blinking(fast), no red lights.

Fifth, what I had done:

  1. Double checked my soldering
  2. Changed the CPU rest wire to alt place, then my xbox will show 3 red light, so returned it to original place.
  3. Changed the Jtag QSB from 470 to 330 , still showing nothing
  4. Loaded then wrote my original nand in J-runner, THEN MY XBOX360 WILL WORK FINE AS IT WAS !!!

I am missing something, is there a special way to wire R-jtag with Demon???
Please kindly I had attached my installation picture.

I've updated my previous post - leave dip switches 7 and 8 ON and try 1 dip at a time starting with 1 and finishing at 6.

I've just looked at your OP again - you won't be able to use RATER or get POST output unless you have a JRP v2.

Have you tried disconnecting the demon and just starting the RJTAG get that sorted and then move over to Demon afterwards. Like doing it in a logical way?

You've written Aud Clamp to the demon so I presume you have the demon daughterboard attached and that is all lit up? Demon set to XB not PC?

The Green cable on your demon doesn't look attached properly. Where is your CPU-RST wire Pictures? What happened with the original blue wire that is used for this? did it get damaged in some way?

No need to get rjtag working them the demon after lol.
Idea of demon is to leave the unboard nand untouched.

Op have you double checked everypoint?

Soldering looks asif it could have a bit of a cleanup around demon side. Have you flashed stock to demon to test the demon works?

Which is fine if any of it worked.

I had no problem with the rjtag install on my 16mb jasper with demon.
I had general rjtag load issues, but the demon didn't interfere.
Only difference was to disconnect the kiosk wire and the ribbon went to the rjtag instead of CR.

He can't flash the demon to stock to check it if it works.

He has a BB Jasper. He needs to be able to build a stock NAND before he can test this.
Meaning: He needs his CPU key.

first off you have the wrong resistors installed for BB conversion...... You want 10K ohm resistors, not 2.2k ohm....... disconnect the ribbon cable for demon from the rjtag chip....... switch to stock nand...... reflash stock, then rewrite xell..... leave demon on stock nand...... The demon disables the chip when you are on stock nand...... Then when you get the cpu key make sure you build your jtag as a jasper 16MB nand image, flash that to demon..... Reflash stock nand image to stock nand...... then try the rater and continue tweaking settings...... mine worked with 1.8v jumper, switches 3-7-8, aud_clamp wireing, didnt test stock jtag wireing, 470 ohm resistor on jtag board.... boots within 4 glitch cycles every time..... if that doesnt work test with rater and see what the error code is....... if it always fails with A0 check your wiring....... I had a similar problem with a falcon, that wouldnt boot xell no matter what i did..... I gave up on it, pulled all the mods, flashed back to stock, and sold it, to get another one. Since the jtag points all goto the gpu, you could have a problem with a solder point under the gpu..... not likely because the system would rrod on stock if this was the case...... try alternate cpu_rst point also...... and shortening cpu_rst wire as much as possible.
