JASPER R-JTAG+ BB Jasper Strange Problem

the resistor at r2r12,right under that number where the jtag qsb solders into the resistor,its that resistor that either needs resoldered or replaced,that will bring the ring of light back and end the freezing.and dont solder the qsb there.iirc it should measure around 8.k ohm.

Thanks for the reply, I re-soldered the resistor and my ROL still isn't back. However the freezing at the Xbox 360 logo is reduced but I still would like my ROL back . If I measure the resistor with my multimeter it gives me 1.33k ohm. I also tested a few other boards, they all give me around the same number. What should I do from here, to get my ROL back? Tip for wire placement stay away from the area directly under the HANA Chip, my jasper would freeze and i rerouted wires and it now works great no freezing.
i put the CPU_RST in one hole and the yellow and white through another. so move the wires down. closer to the xclamps, becareful with the CPU_RST wire not to lift the pad, secure the position of that wire first then work on the others . good luck

don't you mean R2P12 mate , this one OP is the xbox doing anything or is it dead , if its dead you need to look at this resister as NOFELONIESYET said

Thanks for the reply, my Xbox is not dead. It still boots into Xell and NXE, but sometimes it likes to freeze at the 360 logo. As you and nofeloniesyet mentioned it could be that resistor. I resoldered it but it didn't fix my ROL.

it could need a reflow then budy , what I would do from here is , write the original nand back , desolder the red wire from cr4 and see if it boots

Thanks for the reply man! But I've fixed it!!! This is what I did. I moved the switch from the center to left. It fixed my ROL problem and the freezing has stopped. Do you have any install pics of your Jasper? I want to make it as fast as possible. And do you know how to set up and use rater? Can't find a tutorial anywhere or I'm just blind :facepalm:. Thank you!!!

my jasper is all together mate in the case ready to sell on when I get someone ask , I don't use xbox personally never have , and never used rater either , it just set up as per norm it booted pretty fast anyway I was just messing around trying different dips when I first purchased the cr4 and noticed if I had dip 4 on it booted instantly
