I'm assuming they weren't damaged when you received the board?

You have lots of exposed wire strands on the J2B1 header.
looking at the soldering i can guess why its damaged , that soldering is bad and it looks likwe someone as sneezed all over the board , you need to sort out the soldering first budy

Rater Log would be helpful.

And I would clean up all them points on J2B1 Header and the RJTAG Board.

IS the board still flashing green or perm red?

OP whats the fascination with hot glue?
i use hot glue my self personally, but i NEVER ever! put it on my joints/pads.

if one of your post out points are loose/off your f**ked lol. gonna have to take it all off again.

you need to double check EVERY point, even that funky jtag wiring you've made up with no heatshrink looks dangerously close to mosfet..

i would hate you to be working on any of my boxes..

why dont you use the JTAG qsb that is supplied? do you feel like a noob when you use it? prefer standard jtag wiring?

Wow. I dont want to discourage but even my first outing with a soldering iron wasn't that vicious.
I'm guessing thats the aud_clamp/brown wire. You can save so much more wire and neater if you come off the bottom point. And thats the screw area. Good chance when you reassemble, you end up pinching/severing that wire.

Hmmmm... I'm not really sure what the issue could be other than the wiring, the not using of the QSB's which probably would of helped. And the fascination with the hot glue which is going to make it a pain to do it all over again.

I'd really be upset if I get a box like that. Especially if I paid for it.

But I would re do everything. Use flux. Your solder should be shiny and round. Not sharp and dull. And I'm not quite sure I'd recommend the original wiring.

And I believe just about everyone has messed up a box. When you're first starting you don't get to the conclusion that maybe I should stop doing what I'm doing and ask/ send this to someone. This is a little harder than I thought. But instead people turn their irons up and say,"She just needs more heat!!!!!" That'll do it.
