Hi

i installed the r-jtag. What i did is read the nand first and then i updated the console 16203. I totally forgot to read the nand again and wrote xell. with the new update to the latest dashboard again.
If i use the old nand file and create the xell reloaded and write xell Reloaded, the xbox wont boot into xell at all.

Does it mean the xbox is now toast or do i have a wiring problem?

I know that.

1.What i mean is made nand backup. I read the nand where the xbox was on dashboard 14xx.
2. then i realised the xbox needs to be at least at 15574 so i updated the xbox
3. i created the xell file and wrote the xell.

now the xbox is not booting into xell.

i just took everything off and now the xbox wont boot. after couple of secord 3 red lights show up.

is my xbox toas now?

It won't boot with the image you dumped because the LDV has changed.

You will now need to install a CoolRunner (wired up for RGH2), boot XeLL, grab the CPU key and build a 16203 retail image (with an LDV of +1) using your existing NAND dump and the CPU key.

I do have cool runner rev c but dashboard is 16203 will the Xbox boot into xell?
Currently I took of everything flashed off and flashed original nand and Xbox does not boot.

Could you explain in detail how I can create a new retail image with 16203. I did not understand what you meant with ldv of +1

Last time i checked all of the xell images are pre-created, so leave the jtag xell image on 16203, and see if you can get it to glitch...... if not try rgh2 to retrieve cpu key, meaning flash RGX ecc for jasper. once you have the cpu key, you can create a new stock image out of your 14xxx dump..... read messed up nand and get the ldv, create stock nand out of original dump, flash 16203 retail image(the one you just created) to xbox. this should get you back to a stock state at least.

thank you very much.

I got into xell with coolrunner rev. c.
I got the cpu key
I created the image file according to the links you have provided

Now sudden my jr programmer light stays red. Green light is not turning on at all.
if i press the reset button i get in jr runner the bootloader message.
What went wrong. I cannot flash image back to the xbox anymore.

really weird.

that why thought too. i have tried every switch position it stays red.

button is currently pointing close to the reset switch. bootloader mode is away from the reset switch.
tried the other way too.
not sure what the other switch does on the opposite side

Iam not sure but my jr-programmer v2 so iam not sure this is the right file to update.
Is 1.04 hes file the latest and can it be used with v2.

F12 did the trick. Woho green light is back.

Now lets see if the created image is working.

thanks a lot guys i created successfully the image and the xbox booted up with retail image
but when i create the image or xell i cannot get the xbox to boot

i made 3 nand dumps (all good)
soldered the r-jtag back on it.
created the xell file
flashed it back on the xbox

dont have a qsb so i used this link to solder the cables to the board http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1DzLRoZ7Ik at minute 3:14min, my only concern here is that this layout is not for the jasper board

the switches 4,5,7,8 are on
qsb: 2 way switch is on, the 3 way switch is in the middle and the jumper on the right 2 pins

i skipped also the xell write since i have the cpu key, created the image and then flashed it. (r-jtag option was selected and latest dashboard too)

the xbox does not boot into xell or to the dashboard.
sometimes the 3 red light turn on the xbox.

U should have dip 7,8 on and the rest on one at a time, if that don't work set default voltage to 1.2 and try all six dips again, you should get glitch, if not set it to 1.8v and try dips again, you can't have 2 dips on at the same time like u said u did with 4,5

The diagram is ok for jasper.

Follow Xecuter R-JTAG Installation & Setup Guide, sticky in this section and you will find out where to change voltage.

well i have modded many consoles old and new.

this rjtag think is driving me crazy. simply wont boot a jasper into xell

i took everything of flashed the original nand back on it.
now the power button works but the light do not work and the xbox does not boot anymore.
Only black screen.

the first 1-2 times the xbox booted with the white menu with the xbox logo. i cleaned up the soldering points.
now nothing black screen

i just did a Falcon no problem at all. any advice?
