Can you disconnect the POST ribbon and desolder 5vSB from the R-JTAG board? let me know if it still RRoDs and get the secondary code too?

Disconnected 5v and ribbon, sounds like its still attempting via fan rpm noise. But no rrod, left it on for about 3 minutes. Just green light on rol flashing of course.
Secondary error is 0010.

Check POST_0 to POST_7 on the QSB. They should all be reading around 100-120k each with no PSU connected (and no ribbon) when tested against GND.

POST output would have helped you here - why didn't you get a J-R Programmer v2?

Just throwing this out there, you made mention of fan noise. When working on my jasper, I had to set a piece of cardboard on top of the big heat sink to get the fans to pull through the whole heat sink, or else the fans would slowly pick up speed and rrod due to over heating.

I know what u mean. That's y I ALWAYS leave my roll of insulating tape on top of the fan shroud on the gpu side to ensure shroud covers where it's supposed to.?
(As a weight of course )

But fan noise I'm referring to is the sound the fans make when attempting to glitch....every 5 seconds or so, for about a second.
Any and all suggestions welcome ???
