This might be a pretty noob question, but it has been circling my head a lot. Does the R8C2 1k resistor at the alt cpu_rst point have to be replaced in case it gets torn off? I mean, in a JTAG box is there any impact on functionality if the resistor is not there? I've read that the resistor is a debugging header, but nothing much about its significance in r-jtag or glitch hacks. TIA

should run fine from what ive hard by just bridging it.ofc the best recommendation is to replace it though.

A resistor on the reset line will have an effect on the reset pulse, naturally.
