Random but frequent freezing

I am having a problem with my xbox. After a week of frequent use, it now freezes anywhere beween the bootup sequence and 10 minutes of use. I have no dvd in the drive and it even does this in the X3 Live Config program. Whenever it freezes, the blue light on the front panel is still lit, but the sound and video goes away. The dvd drive sounds like it is trying to load something. I have tried flashing the 1959 bios on both 1mb banks, and while the process was a success, it didn't help my problem.

I do have a 250 gig hard drive installed, but when switching back to the stock drive I get the same problem.

Booting to the M$ dash seems to work fine. I was able to play a game of NCAA 2004 until halftime. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this right here is what is normally caused by power spiking. do you have an excessive amount of lighting mods?

Not excessive, but that's interesting that you mentioned that. This morning I put an 80mm fan in because I was worried that the hdd was causing excess heat in the box. It does have two led lights, however, this problem has been happening since yesterday. I've also tried it on several power outlets with two different power cords.

id only make them decorations on the outside of the xbox I wouldnt actually ground them.

only have key.bin for liteon how can flash to lt +

ok so ive flashed tons of 360s and always backup my keys and that but when i went to get my key this week for my liteon 7xxx the inquirry , identity and dummy are missing and all i have is the key .bin , any1 know of anyway i can rebuild my dummy from the key.bin . want to avoid the mra hack as im not that great at soldering .
