Hey everyone,
Just a quick update on the issue I was having and the solution I found.
I bought a spare console to mess around with. It’s clean. Pre July 2018 build. No ban.
Ever since my original install and all the subsequent updates, it was pretty unstable. Crashes between boot-up and then up to 4 hours of use. I’d never got a full day out of it. I guessed as it was a hack this was normal.
Usual crash codes were 2002 or 3999. Sometimes different. It would crash when sleeping, during use. Just random.
I swapped out SD cards. Tried putting the EmuNAND in different places. Different file formats. All of it. Still the same.
Deciding to go for a full wipe and restart again last week, I tried, for the first time using the console, legit. Copying my existing profiles from my other machine etc.
It’s then after nearly a year, I realised the SD card wasn’t being read properly. The profiles wouldn’t copy properly. Then I couldn’t format the SD card. Then trying to download to it kept popping up with the same error codes. Different card, same thing.
Roll on a week, I replaced the SD card reader in the console (£5 repair), I’ve been running SX OS for 72 hours with zero problems. Battery life even seems better.
I’m not saying it’s the fix for everyone, but I am saying SX OS 2.8 beta is solid and very stable on a clean fully working console.
