LITEON 0225 Random Play DvD after 1.92 flash?

I never had any play dvd issues until the last flash to 1.92. It happens every once in a while and I can just turn off then on the 360 and all is well. My setup is:

4gb slim 0225
TX Replacement PCB
360usb Pro
CK3 Pro

Anyone else having a problem? I will admit that I did forget to unhook the laser ribbon last time I flashed :crazy: Hopefully Its something else. Any basic troubleshooting tips anyone can give is appreciated.

If you didnt unhook the ribbon that is likely your problem. Try a pot tweek.

The need to always disconnect the ribbon cable prior to flash is subject for debate....probably his laser was /is just getting weak to begin with......

i flashed all my tx pcb as the tut says.read the orig drive,never have hooked anything up and flash tx pcb.

Having Same issue since THE first lt, its all in THE boot up. Nothing to do with laser ribbon or à weak laser, seems to be in THE hardware, i'll try à replacement PCB coming week, i Will let you know THE results. Something weakened after THE flash, but what?? Call it a slim bug. Dutch library on iPhone 4 makes THE caplock with Some words.

The other thing I did different was read the tx pcb with the 1.91 fw and use that as source instead of my ofw dummy.bin that i have saved. I did this because the release notes suggested to reread the fw. Could this be causing the problem also?

By "re-read" the firmware, I think they meant the stock firmware. However, you can still use your dummy.bin as the source and spoof the information into LTPlus 1.92.

Yah, I should have re-read the original pcb with JF 1.87 and not the TX PCB :facepalm: Well if it gets any worse I'll reflash but maybe 2.0 will be out shortly and I'll start again then. Thanks Everyone

Reflashen will not help, THE cause is uncertain, it works but in THE worst case i sometimes rebootet like 6 times. I reflashed like three times, no luck, hope is on THE replacement PCB.

I have the exact same problem. If I start the console with a backup game its says play dvd... if the console starts without a disc inside, I can play with no problems. All happened after flashing 1.92. With 1.90 and 1.91 had no problems.
Also, I never flashed the 0225 without disconecting the cables... could be this? Its strange... Maybe an introduced bug in 1.92?

I just realized that I could be facing problems with latest 1.92 (Play DVD error, randomly) because I was using my original dump of the 0225 made with JungleFlasher 0.1.82 Beta (234) and in the faqs it says:
"For slims: Make sure you have a dump from JF 1.87 or later from your original drive"

Will try again with new dump when 2.0 comes out.

Hi, just to let everyone know, I dumped my original firmware with JF 1.88 and spoofed to LT+2.0 with JF 1.89 and everything works ok now.

I wonder what if you flashed your original PCB with LT and dont have a good dump of your original firmware, you are fked up? Thanks god I bought the TX PCB.
