rare error message on flashing blue screen

I have this xbox, and it boots up to error 21 prior to me putting a modchip in. So, I do a clean install, and now it boots up to the flashbios screen, and I receive an error message saying, "bad ablity 0 - falling back to 10hd" with a few other things in a paragraph form. ONe of the lower lines says, "tcp/ip initialization failed". But, i know for sure that my xbox is connected correctly cause my other modded xbox connects up fine online. **keep in mind that this errors only when i attempt to flash via http.**thanks

have you tryed cd-rw/dvd flash

nvm, i found out the problem. I just created a boot disk and flashed my xecuter with a 1mb bios. Then, I formated a new hdd and all is well and tcp/ip works well and I can ftp correctly. The wierd thing is, is that the stock hdd could format and I could install stuff on it, I even swiped it clean and nothin still works....not like I really care about the stock HDD anyways, but it was very....odd. The tcp/ip protocol I guess does not work if the HDD is messed up. I am assuming it was the HDDs fault, but it could have been somethin else.....

had similar issue. error 16 on non chipped box. error 13 once chipped. boot x3config live and it's slow to react. hdd was on it's last leg. new hdd fixed it right up.
