Console: Jasper
NAND size: 16
Dashboard version: 2.0.16537
CB version: 6754

J-Runner log:
POST output from J-Runner: Rater and Monitor Post are not working correctly.

Description of problem: Can't get the Rater or Monitor Post to work properly or to boot the console the 2 imgs below are all the Rater and Monitor Post do, The Console does not turn on.

Was the console working before you started: Yes & It's Still Working

Here is a video showing that the console boots with RJtag. My settings are Aud_Clamp pads 1-3 soldered (the img above shows pad 1-2 soldered but that was before the aud_clamp install), 1.2v, dips 7-8-4, jtag switch on, three way switch in the center and the jumper on 470.

Do you have your jrp v2 connected to the QSB and the rater connector?

I got it working now one of the wires was almost out of the connector for the rater so I pushed it in good and now its working but I still have a issue, When the console boots it doesn't shut it down to continue going through the 20 boots and It didnt count the # of cycles it just stayed on 0. I have to press the stop button to get it to turn off.

Connect the green and blue QSB cable to the socket on the long QSB - that will turn the console off during RATER testing.

That RATER log doesn't look correct - solder those POST QSB points again.

i have the green and blue wire in the two wire socket on the long v3 qsb. I'll touch up all the points and try again.

That does look better, it should load right up to POST 79 LOAD XAM. Try with different dip settings and see if it gets any further, console may need a reflow/reball

What's with the nuts and bolts? I suggest returning to stock and making sure the console still works.
That just what I replace the xclamps with, Its the original heatsink bolts with threads on the xclamp end.

Boots fine when returned to stock and boots fine with rjtag installed, i'm just haing issues getting the rater to work properly so I can fine tune.

Post looks better. What settings have u tried so far. There are 18 combinations. Like Blak3y said, make sure your NAND reader wires are soldered/connected to the v3 qsb and rater should do its job. Good luck.

If I'm using Aud_clamp does the 3-way switch and the jumper help with fine tuning or is that just for jtag?

Also is there a spot on the motherboard were i can use my meter and test the post qsb?

As far as I know, the jtag qsb just covers the implementation of the smc hack. If you've already had a successful boot without E79 then that part should be ok. Have you tried all dip settings? Also length of cpu_rst wire and position can play an important part. Your post looks ok. Also check E and F are well soldered and not bridging. Good luck

What would cause it to auto boot & shutdown when the motherboard is out of the case but once I install it into the case it no longer auto boots or shutsdown with Rater?

Chances are some wires have crossed once the chip is pressed under the case. Post a pic of your Rjtag board wired to the v3 qsb if u can. Just check for potential wire crossing/ shorting.
