Hi all, what am I doing wrong? cannot get rater to work. It turns xbox on but wont cycle the console

Select CR-4 on the rater clearly shows Cr-4- not selected.. do you have the blue and green wire from the Jr-p jumper hooked up

I can just assume this console is already working on RGH and your just tuning I have had that happen and just unhook everything and restart my desktop PC then its fine

Still same, do I need to change any switches on the JR Programmer?

No if you can see the JR logo in jrunner then do not move switch's around

What does the nudge button do?


It counts the cycles to glitch but wont shutdown the console. I can manualy shut it down and it restarts on it own just wont shutdown running rater

Make sure the rater cable is inserted, and that the blue and green cable is connected to the QBS. Select CR4 on the rater screen and make sure your power and video cable is connected and you're good to go!

So this needs to be pluged into the CR4 aswell but only the blue and green into the QSB and NOT the WHITE?

It needs to be connected to your JRP

Only cheacking as when reading the nand you DONT power the console on! as I was told doing so (power on whilst reading the nand) could damage the JR Programmer and maybe the console

It needs to be connected to the QBS and the JRP, otherwise the cable won't make any difference.
So green-blue from QSB to JRP, rater cable from CR4 to JRP.

It should run now. Are you using the latest firmware? If so, try to restart your computer and try again.

unplug the usb from PC to JRP unplug your power supply one time with the JRP still not hooked to PC reattach power supply Try again !!
disconnect that face plate as well you don't need it Why are you running rater with out the xbox back in the cage

Unpluged every thing, rebooted pc, reconnected every thing still no go untill I pressed the reset button on the jr.

Does it need to be in the cage to fine tune?
And do I use the av or hdmi to tune?

To fine tune it, yes put it in the cage and everything needs to be connected. Av/HDMI doesn't matter.
