Re-Installing Update Bios

Hey,
i installed my X3 with 1959, and i want to update to the newer version?
how do i do it, and will it wipe my dashboard and programs?
also, how do i set up my X3 config to boot straight to dash?

all you have to do is flash the new bios to your box... put them in C/bios
push the power button and the eject button at the same time to bring up the flash bios screen and flach from hard drive........No everything will still be there your apps and all your settings..... In config live there is a setting that for booting directly to dash...
