I am reintrodusing myself because its been so long. Purchased the usb tool and another part from you guys and used it to mod xbox360 for backups
Years later, were having issues with open/close w/dvd drive during gameplay, sometimes constant, to where its unusable.Bought an XB1.....
I believed around 1 yr ago we deleted my sons profile, or data or something and reinstalled, and it started to work again, but soon went back to the disc drive issue and more.
I have a 7200rpm spin drive in this XDG3 360(a recommended wd one i believe) and i would like to replace.
I am huge on ssd's so much so that i have many extras, and REALLY want to install an SSD to Internal of this Xbox360,as well as fix the disc drive issue.
Last i heard you couldn't use internal ssd. But i don't know.
Couldn't i clone a hdd? To ssd?
What can i do to get ssd instead?
Is it limited to sata2 for internal?
Do you think a reformat or new drive will solve the drive open/close issue?
P.s. we also would love to put ssd in the new XB1,but its not as pressing.Any advice here is so appreciated.
