ok ihave an xbox W/ xecuter 2.6 has an err 16 (dash + clock ) ok i know this i've installed evox m8+ ok i can now cold but (off put in game on) it will play i hit eject boom err 16 ive tryed making evox boot disc used memorex cd-rw and sony cd-rw tried with evox v3935 edited ini from f to e made iso w/xiso i cant get it to boot followed step by step is it just me ,my disc, xbox what ok tryed aid.2 i wastold its the brand of cd try another does anybody out there know i want every ones thoughts ,tricks, know hows , hacks i need help will work out a reward if xbox is fixed

First off, reflash your chip with 5035. It is a newer, and more stable and feature rich bios. This bios will allow you to get around the error 16 when booting with the chip on. I'm not sure if M8 does that or not.
To fix error 16, turn the chip off and boot to the Microsoft dashboard. Set the date and time. You will be all set.

ok i got x2 5035 flashed but now im booting a error13 chip on still error16 chip off (13 - kernel - Dashboard launch fail (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed) now what thank you for helping by the way
Did you put a new hard drive in? If so you should download slayer's and have that rebuild the hard drive.
no i did not put a new hd is there away aroud that i have anougher xbox it works is there a way of using that to bring them both alive thankx for the help
Was any of this happening before you modded the Xbox? Sounds like there's more to the story here.

ive tryed slayer aidv2 and evox boot disc they wont boot tried memorex, sony, tdk brands, made isos out of them with xiso burned them to cd-rws does it matter what program you use to burn the cd as long as you make an iso? i dont know what else to try and the xbox was given to me becouse it had the error 16 i modded it tring to fix it

my box is a version 1.6 and i used nero to burn slayers evox install to a phillips cd-rw disc it worked great for me try it...and u have to burn it as an image to the cd

Use DVD-R!!!!! There's no excuse these days since the disks are dirt cheap and DVD Writers are also very affordable.
Make sure you're burning the ISO as an image and not onto a DVD as a data file.

How are you making the ISO files? It can't be just a regular ISO, it has to be an xISO, most easily made with Qwix.
