LITEON 0225 Reading Bank 0: Dump Failed 0225

I have a liteon PCB 0225 which has the sputnik switch on as I fried my original board which was on iXtreme but done the dash update! I was able to read the card and the Spi Status is 0x00. It writes banks 0 -3 then when it come to the next part it says Reading Bank 0: Dump Failed.

It is no longer detected by JF but can put it into intro mode still but nothing I try can get this drive to pass that stage. Eject does not work. Looked all over the forums but noone seems to be able to tell how to fix.

Any help would be amazing!

What products are you using to flash the drive and can you post your JF log

Its using the onboard sata but I have flashed the original board and other drives fine on this computer before. I have also just ordered the X360USB for future use but not if that will make any difference

Just write it again and it should verify ok...

To be honest I have seen this several times before and you will find that if you try the drive in the console it will work

I used the 0272 firmware which was on my orignal pcb and it worked!!! just waiting to try the drive in my xbox now. The spi is still 0x00 even though the sputnik switch is set to locked is that normal?

Post your full JF log from start to finish so I can see what's going on please

you must click the 0x00 button under the write button to lock the SPI, the switch only works in time that button is pressed.

the switch won't do anything any other time, same if you want to unlock it again

That's why I want to see the full log...:wink:

Too many peeps only post partial logs and they look ok but they never tell the whole story :rolleyes2:
