Hi Guys,

I have just successfully RGH my falcon console using the wires method as oppose to the QSB. Now my question is do i now unsolder the wires i used to read the nand or do they stay there permanently i obviously know that the qsb would stay there but unsure of the wires, i just dont want to catch them when putting the console back together!?

Stupid question i know but i am not sure :)

I've removed the wires on the RGHs I've done and they all still work.

You'll only need the nand-x wires if you want to read/write your nand with the nand-x again.

Nowhere
leaving the wires in will enable a noob to get back into the box if they say write a bad nand to the console and cant boot anymore.jus run wires out of the back of console.then if you do something bad u can jus plug up nandx and off to the races you go.

Me I remove the NandX wires from all my installs. Except my RGH console itself. For that I ran the wires up to where I can get to them without completely taking the console back apart. This way I can easily flash the nand in the future.

In your Nand
QSB stay on, if your did your nand read and write with wires then they do come off after all. The only wires that are connected are the CoolRunner wires for the Glitch to happen, Hope I answered your question.

A galaxy far far away....
there is no harm in leaving the wires attached for future upgrades, just be sure to tuck them in a safe location

or

feel free to remove them

it is a matter of preference

I always leave any soldered wires installed. You never know if you need to hook it all up again.

naturally if you use QSB's - the wires just unplug anyway - that's the whole point of them

frayed beat me to it. Some people leave them in for future use me I remove any updates can be done via xenon elf or 360 nand flasher . But keep them on until your happy with current install/dash that way if anything does wrong you just plug nand x back in.
