You may not have had to shake or move your xbox. The problem with electronic components is that they heat up when you use your xbox and cool down when you switch off. This, in turn, stresses the solder joints and if one of your joints was a little iffy they it may have just let go now. Simple re-solder of the joints should sort this if that is the problem. Start with the pin head joints before messing with the D0 (as you know, this one is best left alone if it is ok).

Re: So is this the process ?

1.61 will play wave 4/5/6. so no you dont need an ctivate disc. i wouldnt even use 1.61 though, id turn it off and wait for benq lt which should hopefully be out in the next month or so. 1.61 is detectable so it could get you banned regardless of the game you play. just hold tight for lt.
