You get it? Pretty sure it's gpu. E71 doesn't throw freezing, rrod, and e79

you are reporting graphics issues with multiple error codes and dots flying all over the screen. your best bet is to get a slim or at least something more reliable than a xenon or you could have the gpu reballed by a pro. replacing the gpu all together would be better but if you are just waiting on it to fix its self then good luck. ultimate 360 can fix it for sure but we dont really need to know eeverytime it has a new dot popup on the screen because the issue and the fix has already been established. send it to ultimate360 for a great deal on the repair (or someone close to you), or open it up and disconnect the fans and throw some bread on the heatsinks and enjoy some xbox toast as that is about all it is really worth in its current condition.

E71 is a one ring rrod. I let it sit booted up for 20 mins then turned it off and no 3 rrod. Everything I've read says E71 causes screen freezing, and that it is a failed system update.

Edit: It said E71 on the screen and is showing all signs of E71
Edit2: I have a slim, and the dots flying over the screen is fixed. That was bc of a faulty av cable.

Yeah of course it's fixable, but how fun will it be to start gaming on that console unless you get it properly fixed? Everything else than a reball will be a very temporary fix and could throw issues at you minutes after you get it booted.

You have been told several times, now it's up to you to decide and stop finding excuses to not get it fixed. Fix it or throw it! No more bulls**t!

Well I found one. Not sure its a falcon, but its jtagable. ATM I'm trying to boot it to the dash.

Edit: It seems booting with eject works better

It booted to the dashboard but THEN my controller wouldn't connect. Just was flashing.
What I ordered may be a xenon, but the seller didn't say.

Yeaahhh but I read somewhere else that it the problem was with a failed update, and I do remember the console updating when my power ran out. All I'm wondering is the best way to get the dash up. But I ordered a new one so that wont be an issue and I can forget this console ever existed.

It's not an update problem, it's the graphics processor
