simple question
is it possible that after reballing a falcon gpu and after attaching back to the board that it can be on a very slight slant (just noticable) but is attached and boots obviously i personally think my theory of the outcome is the heatsink is not going to sit flush with the die and temps/fans ramp up slowly when just on dashboard but does ramp up higher and higher to the point where its eventually going to go to 2 red lights when playing cod ghosts.

this is an unmodded board which origionally had e74 and was not the hana
so the question is? is this a possibility?

instead of the balls sitting like this ---> 00000000000000000 they are all the correct melted size but the chip is clearly on a very slight slant.

i have told the offending person that it wouldnt hurt to reflow it and see f it corrects itself and if it doesnt solve it then replace the chip what do you think?

I have never done a reflow or a reball, but from the factory, the CPU and GPU sit flat on the motherboard.

Common sense says the chip needs to sit flat so that the heatsink can make proper contact.

Nowhere
exactly bl4key thats what i told him, ive reballed him another gpu anyway just to be on the safe side.
personally id reflow it,if its on and working it just needs a proper reseat.happens with reballs sometimes.also this can be a good indicator your setup is not producing even heat.might want to check into that.
