when i use the in game reset or hit the reboot button in avalaunch, it just goes to a black screen and never reboots. sometimes when i turn the xbox on the same thing happens, just a black screen and you never see the startup animation and it just stays on the black screen. But if i turn it off and turn it on again, it works fine. My x3 was shorted out, and i did repair it, so im not sure if i need to buy a new one. Other than this, it works flawlessly. I have the 1959 build by the way. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

nothing wrong with the x3 at all - IGR is a bios feature not a hardware feature
do you have any igr settings in your dashboard enabled ?
are you using IGR after paused a game ?
is there a disc in the dvd rom ?

yes its enabled in config live, and i dont pause the game, but it happens in apps too like avalaunch and xbmc. And there is no dvd in the drive
I have the same issue but for me it happens when I use IGR - every now and then. Sometimes it resets fine and sometimes it resets to a black screen. Other than that my system boots fine!

ok well i have a 1.4 and the 1959 build. A samsung dvd rom and a seagate 160gb hdd. If you need any other info let me know, thanks
im gonna try using my friends x3 to eliminate the possibility of it being the chip. I wasnt trying to give you a hard time, it just seem like xecuter is the only one that will help.
I also reformatted my hdd, all partitions and reloaded new apps. Still no luck. In config magic it says the unique hdd key (not the lock pw) is 0000000000000. Maybe that could have something to do with it. Maybe i need to reload a new eeprom for a 1.4? Cause i also get kernal error when i boot with the chip disabled. Hope this helps

im actually runny xbmc, but sometimes when i just turn the xbox on it just goes to a black screen. If i turn it off and on again its fine. i made sure there is no igr enabled except the bios
beatles rock band dlc and jtag
Hi all,
I'm pretty new to the forum but not to the scene. Jtagged my xbox and of course its great. Using xexmenu 1.1 I ftp'ed my factory 20gb hdd and can get xbla games to work no problem. I cannot for the life of me get beatles rockband full album dlc to work. I got abbey road, put the file in content/0000000000000000 but its nowhere to be found while playing the game or anywhere in the dashboard. I have a factory legit copy of beatles rockband. I tried copying the disc to the hdd using xexmenu but it started for a second and then threw me back into the normal menus. Then I copied the disc through the dashboard, which worked, but still the dlc didnt show in the game. I even ripped the game, ISO2GOD'ed it and ftp'ed it to the hd and still no dlc. I've researched like crazy but have come up empty. the nfo from the dlc just says extract in content/000000000000000 and to have the title update in cache folder. Like I said i have the factory disc and the system i'm using isn't banned. I can only guess that my problem has something to do with the title update. If I have the factory disc I would think I have the update. Nothing pops up when I run the disc asking for an update though.

I figured it out. For those interested, this is what happened. I got 3 free songs for reserving the game and those were signed to my old system. I copied the 3 songs off, yaris-swapped them, put them back in the folder, and then the other dlc album I got showed up.
