rebooting problem

xecuter 2.6 lite installed. New bios and dash also installed. With chip enalbed the machine boots fine and plays all games (bought, overseas, buned etc...). Problem occurs when an audio cd or a movie dvd inserted. Goes to loading page then just automatically reboots and continues this cycle. Tried original disks, copies and burned media, all problematic.

(When chip disabled and ms bios boots, dvd/cd media plays fine)

Any thoughts please?

Do you have Avalaunch, and is it setup to autoplay DVDs?

You can get a program called Xbox Media Center (XBMC) to play DVD's and what not. Or you can change your dashboard to Avalaunch and go to the settings menu and set it up to use the internal DVD player. As far as Evox I am not sure if you can or can't use that dashboard to play DVD's. Somebody else may know. Sorry I don't use Evox.

I had that same problem with Avalaunch. As japagi said, try turing off that setting and using XBMC for DVD playing.
