I'm waiting on my 2.6 chip to come in. Been pratising my soldering skills. I have a 1.6 xbox so I'll be using the rebuild PCB. I was just wondering how you get solder from the solder point on Rebuild PCB to the solder points on the mobo.
Do you have to tin both points and then bridge them somehow? Just wondering if I could get a tip(s) from those who have already done it.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

PS I already posted this question in one of the stickies on top of this forum. The reason I'm starting a new post is because I'm not sure the sticky gets checked daily by the regulars. I'm sorry if this is frowned upon.

I recommend you hit your solder (use 60% tin, 40% lead solder) to your soldering iron and knock off a few solder balls. Then simply place the little solder ball next to the little notch on the Re-build PCB, hit it with the iron. You should get as perfect a solder connection possible :D

Don't drink any with caffeine :( Makes you too jumpy! Good luck!
