LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Rebuild Slim Firmware?

I got a Slim motherboard I was wondering about rebuild a Firmware for the DVD Drive.. I tried the LizFix with no Luck... I seen OggyUK say something about the fcrt.bin.. I was wondering how i'd go about getting all info I need?
I've also tried to Change Key in Slim Nand. still didn't work..


All I have is the Key and Drive model

when you build your glitch image with jrunner it should ask you if you want to save the fcrt.bin (i could be mistaken) click yes cause you need that for slims dvd dirve or you will just get play dvd even if you have the correct dvd key.

Also if you have the cpu key and a back up of the nand. when you open up jrunner and load your info click on the kv info tab and it will tell you your dvd key.

yes I have both key's CPU and DVD.. that link you show is for phat Key not Slim,

I don't think it ask about the fcrt.bin... It just quickly makes it,

It doesn't allow me to save it , just enable it.. I tried extracting it with 360 flash tool but when I click it nothing ever happen... i was hoping to Dual nand this console but I guess it'll stay RGH Only

What about tx fusion. Just get a DG-16D4S drive for that slim and pair the dvd drive. Then get the original firmware bin with jungle flasher.

sadly, even when fusion can pair slim drives, it won't fix the FCRT.bin problem

slims have a key AREA on the drive, not just a single key like phats

you need the whole key area in order to comply with the FCRT check on a stock xbox

Fusion and RGH (with no fcrt.bin patch) don't have a fcrt.bin check, so they can use drives that don't have the full key area

I'm in the exact same situation. Bought three slims from a member of the forums who lives near me. He has the dummy bins, but forgot to bring them when he stopped by. There is a way to recover the keyarea, this link provides more info http://www.hackfaq.net/xbox360/keyarea_regen/

If someone could help me with this that would be amazing, it would also solve the op's problem

there is no way to recover the key area

that process doesn't work
