Thanks bandit. Alright so far I've removed the QSBs cleaned up the holes and soldered them back on. Disassembled the diodes they appear to be working properly then rewired/heatshrink. Soldered them back in place Red J2D2.1 to DVD_Tray and Yellow J2D2.2 to Aud_Clamp. Added a resistor leg as a jumper between J2D2.7 and J2D2.4. Flashed Xell with the correct SMC points. Upon first boot maybe 5 seconds after it threw E79. Flashed Xellous and same result. I don't have any 330 Ohm resistors in my boxes so I'll have to pick some up tomorrow after work. Hopefully that will bring me some joy.

Looking over your posts again, I misread your J2D2 readings.

Without anything installed, J2D2.1 and J2D2.2 should read 1.5k against ground. If they're not, it indicates a problem elsewhere. For reference, I've just finished with a Falcon motherboard which gave me a short on J2D2.1. The fault was with the GPU itself. I removed it and fitted a new one and it's happily running FreeBOOT now.

I'm not saying that it's the same fault in your case, however, something's causing the problem.

How good is your soldering? R2E2 and R2E4 are responsible for supplying resistance to J2D2.1 and J2D2.2 respectively. If you're up for the task and can do so, remove them and test them off circuit. Next test the resistance again for J2D2.1 and J2D2.2.

Let me know if you can and how you get on!

I looked over the underside of the board for anything shorting an C4T36 is lifted. The pads are fine so tomorrow I'll go get a 15 watt iron and try my hand at putting it back on. Not quite sure if that is what the issue is but it could be a contributing factor

Ok so I finally managed to replace the missing capacitor on the underside, re-did the wiring Aud_Clamp & DB1F1 and flashed Xell. At that point it began acting weird on first boot it threw E79 0020 and then on the following boots a little bit later it would red ring but I couldn't get it to display a secondary code. I swapped the RoL out and same thing. The eject button works fine to eject the tray but other than that the combo of them don't work.
