Hi,
I've been researching mod chips since about late summer, and I think I've read everything there is to know about the different models of Xecutors. Now I'm ready to buy one. My question is, as someone that's never modded an Xbox before, what does the X3 offer me over a 2.6? Is it really worth that extra $$? I'm looking for simple things: the ability to play backup games and not ruin my original discs, FTP to my xbox, stuff like that. I'm not interested in xbox live as of now, but if I do decide to get it I'd like a chip that offers what I need to be able to play live. I don't see a need to install bigger hard drives, etc, or anything advanced like that. And soldering isn't an issue, I've gotten pretty good at it.
Please feel free to flame, link to similar threads, whatever... I have looked around a bit and I still haven't gotten the answers I need. What can I say, a dumb noob would like advice from the experts
