Recover NAND ?

Hi,

I'm trying to help a friend, not sure how :)
He tried to update his RGH'ed trinity over the network, using unknown application.
and it failed, not the box won't boot. luckily Xell boot when pressing the eject.

What should I do here ? using donor nand ?

not from this box :( I never saw it before today.
I have nands from other friends that I flashed.

Ok so if u can boot xell then follow these steps.Make sure you have a ethernet cable plug in.

Step 1) boot xell and wait for it to fully load.


Step 2) write down the ip address.


Step 3) open your browser on your pc.


Step 4) put the ip address into your browser and hit enter.


Step 5) press download on the raw flash

Then build a new nand with j-runner on latest dash with what u have.

Thanks, got it.
Can I use USB formatted and put the file there to flash the nand.
too late today for soldering :)

Ok Done.
But the problem still exist and its weird.
I can still boot to XeLL, but when I boot normally, I see the CR flash twice and then stops (same amount happen for XeLL)
but then nothing happen, black screen, CR like "finished"

Any idea ?

I think that but taking the NAND from xell, i took damaged NAND dump becuase the initial problem was the very same, black screen.
Can it be ?
