iwould it be better to just rip all the glue and paint off mine and paint it red or to buy a new jewl. and whats the best place to get a jewl iv seen a lot of places but i want ur opinons

well if i get the green off and its completly clear can i just spray some fusion on and itll look ok?

For sure... i did one like that with duplicolour but it was black paint. looks just like the Jewel form the Halo Le green xbox.

awsome, so i set off to do it. But after i used finger nail polish on it it kinda fogged over... any suggestions

Toothpaste... tap down some paper on a flat surface, and tape the top side of the jewel then apply toothpaste to the flat side. Just use it as sandpaper, and that will polish it up. Every couple of minutes, wash it off and check it to make sure it working and getting clear.

I would just clear thte jewel with toothpaste, then add 6 red led's around it on the inside of your XBOX case/lid. This will look much better than having red paint on the back of your jewel. Here's a photo of my XBOX from a while ago with the red led's on. (I have two sets, green and red, controlled by a switch). In this photo, my xbox jewel only has 4 led's per colour, so if you do 6 led's, it will look much better.

The light is much smoother in reality, my digital camera makes it look like there are just blobs of light where the led's are. Photo's never do led's justice.
