hi! i have a situation: i have an xbox classic, crystal, i got it a few days ago as a gift, but when i turn it on i only got red led, like in this video:

if i press the eject button the led just blink for less than one second, and nothing happen, if i press power button it stay red for a few seconds and goes away, if i keep pushing the power button the led stay on (red) until i stop pushing it.
i've opened my xbox and it was modded in 2005 with, i think, an aladdin modchip, but i can't figure out wich one, it's a sst 49lf020a, lattice a430aa30.so, i'm also looking for a soluction, thanks in advance

so it may not be a hardware issue. On mine I have it set to go between red/green/orange. then again based upon what you are saying, I would unplug the mod chip, and see what you get. The stock bios should give you an error code, or might react differently
