I have installed and programed my coolrunner. I can get the xbox to turn on but not to boot. The coolrunner has the red light but the green never flashes.

What I have done so far:
Re soldered my points
Shortened my wires

Dumped NAND twice and no bad blocks
Created and wrote EEC

The xbox will not boot into xell.
Also Only the middle light on the rf board flashes

Phat zephyr and I have re soldered the points and there all good. I have been soldering for Many years so I don't think that is the problem.

Hi.
If your soldering looks good then it is most likely the positioning of you green & blue wire(just blue on slim).
I always run these as close to the x-clamps as i can get them and my rgh consoles always boot 1st time.
If it is a slim coil the blue wire and wrap plenty of electrical tape round it or buy a slim post qsb

i was writing this the same time as you left your last post. Zyphers can be a pain to get to glitch but try running the wires as i described above

I can not post the pictures up right now because I am not at my house but u can post them up later. Also I have screws instead of xclamps so I have my wires going under there and I made every wire as short as possible while still reaching the points

Hi.
I dont think the length realy matters with phats as long as you dont have them realy long.
I find the blue wire supplied with the cr for the phats to be a little too short so i use the blue wire provided for the slim and cut it to length.
I leave the rest of the wires as they are out of the pack

I had a zephyr that I was doing that would not glitch also. Turned out that when i released the black T8 screws on the case that hold the heatsinks down it released too much pressure and created a broken solder joint under the GPU. I have read that zephyrs and sometimes xenons are HORRIBLE for this. Best way to check is to flash back your stock nand and make sure it still boots (Coolrunner switched to PROG mode). If it red rings on you then most likely a solder joint cracked and you will have to get it re-flowed. If it does boot then that means it is most likely your soldering or the placement of the wires on the bottom of the motherboard. I found that the Blue and Green wires are the most finnicky when it comes to placement on the phats. I still have a finnicky Jasper 512 that I cannot get to glitch for the life of me and i've tried everything. But what I've noticed is that even though it wont glitch the green light will usually flash at least once no matter where the wires are placed as long as they are soldered correctly.:D
