Hey guys got a small problem.

Flashed my Lite-On on my Phat Xbox 360 at my friends house. We tried put it back together and plugged it into his power brick. Xbox Booted up fine and we tested a backup game to make sure it worked.

It did game ran fine and all.

Now a few days later I hooked up my xbox at my house it has been sitting on my entertainment center the whole time.

Plugged it up to the tv MY power brick, hit the power button and for a split second the green power light in the center of the rings turns on then off. After that power brick light turns from yellow to red.

Tried a different power brick from another friend.

Tried swapping outlets etc.

We have not done any other modding except for flashing and it did work at one point after the flash. Any Ideas?

I dont know how to solder and we did not mess with that stuff.

IM DESPERATE!

Would appreciate any help thanks!

Edited: I also have scoured the forums but everyone is JTAG and thats not my case. Not sure what people are talking about the USB pins and such. Is that on the inside?

Hello Martin thanks for the quick reply.

We originally tried using the xecuter device to power the drive but it wasn't working so we used my friends brick to power the Xbox which powered the cdrom. We used the needle probe to get the drive key and the usb tool to connect and flash lt+ver 3

I would therefore try booting the console with the drive disconnected. It's possible it has nothing to do with the drive flash but the second you use the console as power (which is a massive no-no), all bets are off.

Ok I will do so. If it works should we try reflashing the drive? And if so do we need to order another power adapter from xecutor? Or would I be fine to power it through the computer and not the Xbox.

We had the Molex adapter but it wasn't powering up for some reason. No lights nothing. And of course the cdrom was not being powered up. Since all we had was a laptop at the time we improvised with with powering it through the Xbox. Sounds like we should have waited for a pc. Let me remind you that we were able to play a backup game after so the flash worked. However I will do it again if that's what is best.

I jus don't understand why it would work then not even power up after. Makes no sense.

Did you by any chance unplug the drive and reconnect after your test? If so maybe you plug it in backwards.

I hate TapaTalk auto correction. Please bare with me.

Yeah I tried unplugging it from the wall. The worst part was when I tried my friends his doesn't work anymore. Now I have to buy 2 power supplies. And of course gamestop or bestbuy does not sell them back to the internet and overpriced I'm sure they will be.

Thanks for all your help I will update when I tried opening it up and checking it out
