Red light on psu after soldering

I used flux and my solder is quite qood, but again all soldering points make good contact with the board, what can i do?

You've applied way too much solder on those points. You're probably shorting something under QSBs. Get some desoldering wick and flux to remove most of that solder on those QSBs.

Do you want me to also install the RJTAG board? because i just tried without and it was not booting at all, nor automaticallly nor by pushing the rf module button.

What would installing the R-JTAG do if the console won't even turn on?

The issue you have is more than likely with R2P12.

This isn't a spoonfed process. You'll need to use a little common sense and electronics knowledge to check R2P12. It's a 10k resistor and should still be this value. However, you're soldering part of the QSB to it and during your 'resoldering' you may have damaged it.

If you don't have one, go back in time 24 hours and get one. Then mod your console.


Joking aside, whoever told you that starting work on modding without a multimeter needs to be taken out and shot. Basically you've been flying blind in all of this.

If you don't even get a flashconfig, it's going to be STBY_CLK causing you the problems, not R2P12.

Ok, im going to my neighbour to lend his multimeter, can you please mark on the picture you send me earlier what i have to do precisely?

I know im asking a lot here but this is my first time doing such a mod.
