Red Switch light on all the time

Ok, here's the problem. First off, I have the xecuter 3 installed with the pcb rebuild for my xbox v1.6. Now, when i hit the power button, it loads into the xbox bios and the external switch lights up red. When i hit the eject button, the switch lights up red as well, no bios loads and the xbox seems to power on and off. When i hit both buttons at the same time, nothing happens. Both blue leds on the modchip stay lit when the system is on. Can anyone help here? One more thing. I have the red 5v power connector connected to what i was told in the instructions. Here is the picture i followed:

For some reason, teamxecuter neglected to have this hooked up in the later images. If it wasn't in later images because of the fact that it wasn't used in 1.5 and previous versions, then, thats why. Otherwise, can anybody explain that as well? Thanks.

What does this refer to?

I would check your LPC rebuild soldering very carefully. Obviously you soldered the d0 wire to the d0 pad on the LPC rebuild PCB, yes?

Do you mean the Xbox reboots 3 times and then flashes red and green (FRAG)?

Can you remove the chip from the pinheader and boot the Xbox ok?

So, you mean that you think just the d0 is incorrectly soldered, or could it be other things on the lpc?
I would start with the d0 point and then go from there.

The X3 light should change to blue when you boot with the eject button.

I finally got it fixed. The biggest problem with the system was pin 15. I'd like to say thanks to Martin, but as for teamxecuter, they've got some work to do. There are many safeguards that could've been in place that would've helped the whole process. For one, including extra wires. Two, including a complete and well referenced manual with the chip (including diagrams, that I had to go to other websites to find). And finally, electronics wise, that whole pcb rebuild thing needs some work. Yeah, it makes it a little easier to do the d0, but after doing it and fiddling with the soldering of the one board to the other for a few days, i'd have rather done it without the board. In the end, between lots of soldering and a hot glue gun, it's finally stable and can be shook around without losing connection. Oh well, thanks martin for the help.

I find the feedback interesting given my 1.6 xbox took around 2 hours to do on my first ever mod chip, I found I had everything I needed on this site and it worked first time absolutely perfect. I admit common sense had to be used at some points but if you dont have that then should you really be modding your xbox in the first place.

Transfer Corrupt Profiles fr Console that Failed AP25 Check

I have a console that failed the AP25 challenge and now the profiles on the hard drive will only work on that console.
When I try to use the hard drive on another console, all the profiles show as being corrupt.

How can I transfer these profiles to another hard drive so that they can be used on another console?

Thanks.

takes a little work but heres how to uncorrupt the game saves and profiles, once you do don't put it back on the flagged/banned system ( http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/topic/99953-how-to-uncorrupt-profile-from-a-banned-xbox-360/ )

Looks like some of the original images in the tutorial have been removed. I'll go back to the original tutorial from Belenos to see them. I'll try it.

Thanks.

Re: Transfer Corrupt Profiles fr Console that Failed AP25 Ch

That tutorial worked for me! Thanks!

Now that I copied the profiles over, when I try to resume the games where I left off, the saved games\ checkpoints are not available.

How do I go about copying the saved games\checkpoints to the hard drive of the unbanned console?

Thanks.

Re: Transfer Corrupt Profiles fr Console that Failed AP25 Ch

you have to go through and uncorrupt each gamesave individually. i would suggest deleting any you don't want or need because on the 360 harddrive gamesaves are not named most times. you will have to uncorrupt them all. once cleaned... if you want to move off the hardrive to another, you can use a usb thumbstick or memory card
