Hello Team-Xecuter, I am sorry of sometimes making some un-clear posts. Now I have redone everything and I am asking for your help.

I am having a problem with my RGH 2.0 Falcon Board, the original Nand is on 16767. I have read my Nand (4 times) compared it, it was all fine. Wrote the ECC didn't get it to boot to Xell, so I replaced the shielded cable with a blue wire from the slim wires package (coolrunner rev c). Then I've got it booted into Xell after 73 minutes. So first I didn't know that you could also generate a lower hacked image but I thought that it had to be on 16767, (people thought I was an XBL Hacker). So now I created a hacked image in JRunner on 16747. And now it isn't booting for over 2 hours (http://imgur.com/AtLEYW6). Maybe it is going to boot but I want it to boot faster. Can anyone please help me on this. Coolrunner Programmed on Falcon.

Here is an organized version of the above:

Xbox 360 Type: Falcon
Original Nand Dash: 2.0.16767
XeBuild Image Dash: 2.0.16747

TX Products: Coolrunner Rev C, Nand-X RGH2.0
Coolrunner Timing File: Falcon
Was the console working before you started: Y
Do you get a green debug light appear on the RGH chip every 4-5 seconds: Y
How long is the light on for each time: 3 seconds

RGH 2 has always been very tricky on Falcon motherboards. Could take anywhere from 30 mins to hours to boot. I personally would take out the RGH 2 equipment and replace it with if you can find it a R-JTAG kit or order up the new CR4 XL eather right now for pre-order or when its actually released. I can guarantee you will get almost instaboot everytime like on my Falcon running the R-JTAG kit.

i never used r-jtag before, always use coolrunner, that falcon booted for me in less than 20sec everytime but it was because the position i put the cable, now if i moved it 2 inches to the left it wouldn't boot at all, 2 inches to the right gave me 5-10 mins and i did use falcon timing file also you can try trinity timing file, got good results with it too

R-JTAG is pretty much the same when to comes to install as the coolrunner. Its just alot more stable on a falcon and faster boot times on a falcon. And if you past the dash point to be able to use RGH 1 then R-JTAG is the recommended way to go.

I have to add that I've run into falcons (rgh2) that were so unreliable no matter what xsvf file and wiring that in the end I had to install an r-jtag into it - that usually got it going in under 30 secs most of the time.

It was not too often, but happened 2 or 3 times so far over the years. Of course you need to wait for cr4 now since r-jtags are not mfg'd anymore.

Thanks, I can't even get it into Xell anymore with ECC, guess I'd have to wait for Cr4... But I Saw some peope having luck booting it under 30 seconds, do you know any other tricks rgh2?

By the sounds of it you have a picky falcon and will only work and or boot with 1 certain configuration. With R-JTAG or the new CR4 you don't have to worry about that. You should be able to set it up any way you like and it should work. Like with my Falcon i did some experiments with the R-JTAG chip and the blue CPU_RST wire (that's usually the picky wire). I placed the R-JTAG board in different places and I also rout the blue wire in a bunch of different ways even right around power components and still with every location of the R-JTAG chip and the blue wire it didn't matter my Falcon still booted within 15 secs most of the time was instaboot. The CR4 will be the same since it will use the R-JTAG part of the chip.

Thanks for the reply... But I don't understand how a routing of a wire changes the boot times, can you tell me your length of the wire and routing?

I'm useing R-JTAG with the R-JTAG kit/chip which doesn't matter the length of the blue wire or where its routed. But my blue wire is the stock length of what came in the kit. And i have it routed straight from the top point to just in front of the fans and straight over then up at an angle straight to the R-JTAG chip which is mounted on the top rear of the dvd drive.

with rgh2 and falcon, I only had success with the falcon xsvf file (RGH2_B version) and the cpu rst wire is awg 28 (multi-core) and routed next to the heatsinks on their top side, as close to them as possible. That's all.

xell should boot in under 2-3 minutes. if not, then it's a very picky falcon, and you are better off with waiting for the cr4 or trying to get an rjtag chip from someone who still has a few.
