Reflash new bios with Programmer

does any one know why doesnt the x2.6 work with the the programer2.6
using xecuter bios manager 2.3
.
what happened is that i have flashed it with the cd but using a wrong bios !!!

tried to reflash it with the prigrammers it gives me the error 0x0000 when the ship is plugged to the prog. and erorr 0x1010 when its not please help!!

Have you remembered to connect the external switch to the chip? You need to set it to Bank 1 / Enabled / Flash Protect disabled.

Are you definitely connecting it to the programmer correctly?

Error 0x0000 is usually driver-related. If you have any print software on your PC, then close it down before trying.

yes i sure every thing is connected !!
i get the error 0x0000 when the ship is connected to the programmer
and 0x1010 when its not connected

im going to re install windows and see what happens !!!

A tough situation

I have been given a console with a benq drive the drive can not be detected by the console or my computer laser doesnt turn on or anything happens any way i can extract the dvd key out of the benq drive, btw console is jtagable but i wanna leave that as my last option

It sounds like the drive is fried?
When you turn on the xbox 360 with the DVD drive in, does the power button's middle green light flash, and not stop flashing? If so, the drive is probably fried.

You say it can be jtagged.. so, I would definatly do that to get the key off it, or maybe you could even set it up to play games off a harddrive instead.

yeah middle light keeps blinking infintly oh well jtag i must, i know its jtagable cuz it has the tab dashboard, but if anybody know how to work around a fried drive like that then feel free to commet
