Hello guys/girls.
I am also stupid and have flashed my bios incorrectly!
I have a V1.6b xbox with an X3 chip and flashbios3.0.3 (well I did have 3.0.3 to start with!) and a 120gig seagate HDD
all of which aren't much good to me at the moment all due to my own inability to double check that my switches were set up correctly.
To cut a painfully long story short, I flashed my xbox with the x3 3294 bios but set the switches to off, on, off, off, off instead of the correct on, on, off, off, off. The xbox loads fine and the xecuter rox my box logo comes up, then it loads to the bois menu screen as normal.
However, my xbox will not load any of the iso's I have made for the evox dash or any of the auto installers I have made. I have made about 7 DVD copies of these just to make sure it wasn't a bad burn or anything.
So I assume my xbox isn't reading my iso's because I stuffed up the flashing of my bios and have actually flashed to banks 5,6,7,8 instead of 1,2,3,4
To fix this do I just need to hold down the eject and power buttons and flashbios 3.0.3 will load up from my backup bios? or have I sucessfully deleted flashbios 3.0.3 when I flashed my bios?
Also do I need the switches set up in any particular way in order for the backup version to load or should I just keep them set to off, on, off, off, off and then change them to the correct setup for flashing (on, on, off, off, off) when I am ready to reflash my bios?
Anyone's help would be much appreciated.
