LITEON 83850 v1 Reflashing from 0251

Hello,

I flashed my 83850C v1 to LT a while back. My younger cousin put in Dance Central 2 and it updated, changing the drives firmware to 0251. The console is used offline only so I'm not bothered.

The only thing is I am trying to flash it to the latest iXtreme LT (I have the backup dummy.bin and key from the original firmware). But everytime I try to get the drive to get into INTRO so i can erase it, it never works.

I turn the drive on and off quickly within one second. It is connected to a VIA VT6421 and I am using a CK3 lite to power the device.

I just want to erase and reflash it. I have the dummy and original files.

I've read it and I cannot see why the device will not go into intro mode. I've spent a good few hours of today trying to get it into intro to no avail.

You cannot intro a Lite-on phat before its erased. I'm assuming you read the part about pressing the Lite-on Erase button ?
